Emperors of Entrepreneurship - Story of Neha Khare.

Name: Neha Khare
Who’s She: Founder, Yes I can

Her leadership mantra: Go slow but aim high, count your steps every day and you will climb your ladder the way you desire! However make your process of reaching your goal as enjoyable as you can than the goal itself!
How she executes: At Yes I Can, our approach is not to compromise with the quality while pursuing numbers. For example- our small project for transgender is creating a deeper impact where we see changes within them on a daily basis. On the contrary our project ‘Who is Speaking Please’ started with 10 students a few years back now reaching towards more then 50 including students from Kashmir this year to help them in spoken English.
Like any other working woman, Neha Khare always aspired high. She had high ambitions.  She aspired to be a super woman, adept at multitasking and use maximum energy to make high earnings.
During her corporate days, she discovered that she enjoyed networking, she being good at connecting with people.
This being her strength,  she realized  gradually that she could leverage this to serve the society in a better way. This new found profession includes identification of best social practices and giving them opportunities with guidance from funding, which is of course was her bread and butter. However in the course of time she realized, that giving an amount or a  signed cheque is the easiest ways of contributing to a social cause. But the downside was loss of control on the beneficiaries for whom she was helping with philanthropic approach.
Further,  the most important and difficult task was to  give ‘Time’ in an ideal way to make a difference in the lives of those who are deprived of opportunities and guidance.
In Ms Khare’s own words “Forming of Yes I Can Foundation was like my dream came true as it held a promise of reaching out to the beneficiaries in a better way with the help of expert professionals through various projects. The span of the projects cover the whole gamut: from spending just 15 min on a Smartphone to making a difference to individual mentoring with particular sessions.“
Today Yes I Can Foundation has reached up to more than 500 beneficiaries only with the support  and guidance from volunteers from different professions associated with the organization.
At Yes I Can, project starts at identification phase where Ms Khare personally involvs in the basic research of ‘Need’ factor to make sure that time and efforts invested by the volunteers can bring out  positive difference to the beneficiaries. In the next step, a pilot phase is started, with a few beneficiaries to assess the impact. Once the organization is confident about taking a large jump they expand the project to reach out to more beneficiaries.
Says Khare,  “At Yes I Can, our approach is not to compromise with the quality while pursuing numbers. For example- our small project for transgender is creating a deeper impact where we see changes within them on a daily basis. On the contrary our project ‘Who is Speaking Please’ started with 10 students a few years back now reaching towards more then 50 including students from Kashmir this year to help them in spoken English. “
Her leadership Mantra- Go slow but aim high, count your steps every day and you will climb your ladder the way you desire! However make your process of reaching your goal as enjoyable as you can than the goal itself!
Her Tip for work home balance – At times working out on balance is challenging, especially when you are in social sector you get calls from students in need and they except you to support them promptly. I remember arranging writers for blind students in stress at midnight at times leaving family aside. However my tip is take your family in confidence and involve them as much as you can to overcome this challenge.
Biggest challenged I faced and did she overcome that- “With many projects running and with student connect sometimes I see drop out and this puts us me in a situation where I ask question to myself”
‘Why we have done so much for student XYZ why is the student not responding’. However after dealing with many such cases I have realized that let us not ruminate on the past cases of failure, let us identify more opportunities and guide more beneficiaries with a cause. “
Her message to the readers -
“Try to create a life from which you do not need a vacation from”

Emperors of Entrepreneurship - The Story of Srinivas Kotni

Name : Srinivas Kotni Who’s he : Advocate & Company Secretary His Leadership Mantra :   Leadership by example and relationship oriented approach How he executes : By following the goals passionately, by always striving for quality and timely delivery and by ensuring empathy and human values which are the underlying drivers. Biggest challenge faced : Introduction of GST!! Being trade lawyers for the last 17 years the focus has always been on trade and indirect taxation laws. When GST was introduced, the entire indirect tax litigation almost came to a stand still, as the government and the department was not issuing show cause notices, there have been no raids, audits and measures for recovery. . It meant our core practice area has faced a sudden roadblock. In the face of acute circumstantial adversity, instead of getting overawed by the situation, we carefully re-calibrated our approach and developed our other areas of practice like insolvency and bankrupt
